The easiest way to make a cup or jug of tea with your loose tea is with a loose filter bag or tea infuser. These filter contain the loose tea as it steeps in a teapot or your favorite mug. The Sage Smart Tea Infuser

The Sage Smart Infuser is a kettle and infuser in one and is available in the compact size of 4 cups, or 1 liter and 1.7 liters for 7 cups. Sage's handy infuser knows the right temperature and duration of infusion to get the most out of your favorite tea. The unit has five different settings for green, white, oolong, herbal, or black tea and the infusion time can range from 1 to 5 minutes for a mild, medium or strong tea. With the simple controls, you set the temperature and timer so you know when the infusion is ready and can remove the tea strainer. The tea is then automatically kept warm until you start drinking it.

The Sage Tea Maker Kettle

The Sage Tea Maker Kettle is fully automated. The automatic tea filter itself sinks into the hot water and rises again when the correct tea strength is reached. The tea leaves are gently moved to release their full flavour to the water. Seeing is believing. Like Sage's Tea Infuser, the Tea Maker has five different temperature settings for the different types of tea that can be prepared and three different strengths for a mild, medium or strong tea. The Tea Maker is available in a 1 liter version, good for four cups of tea and 1.5 liters, for six cups of tea. The auto start function makes it easy to set the timer and your favorite tea is warmed and ready for you at the entered time. The tea is automatically kept warm for an hour.

Milk in your tea?

Milk and tea are a perfect pair. Many teas, including the spicy Indian Chai Sansibar or English Breakfast lend themselves perfectly to a little hot, or frothed milk. Milk frothers are also ideal for making lumps in your matcha tea small.

Milk mixes excellently with any dark tea that has a chocolate, creamy, smoky , nutty, vanilla or spicy flavour.
