Daily maintenance of the coffee machine

Maintaining your piston machine or full-automatic espresso machine is important. Proper maintenance of the espresso machine not only prolongs the life of the machine, but also improves the quality of coffee preparation and taste.

Daily maintenance is the same for semi-automatic and full-automatic espresso machines:

• Fill the water tank with fresh water
• Flush water through the system
• Empty and clean the drip tray.
• After frothing milk, clean the steam nozzle thoroughly.
• Use of low-lime water

Cleaning a piston machine or a fully automatic machine

To properly clean your coffee machine, you need descaling tablets or liquid and cleaning tablets. Do you ever make cappuccino or other coffee recipes with milk products? Then you need special cleaning agents for this as well. Milk systems in particular can be more susceptible to blockages and bacteria, among other things, more quickly.
